BOOK WEEK

Book week has been a huge success with lots of learning and fun being had by all!!! We have taken part in chinese shadow puppetry, making crowns, making frogs and creating an aquarium for Rainbow Fish. Our book week culminated in a book week parade where we all dressed up as characters from our favourite books. Don't we look wonderful!!!!

We have been learning about the bridge being built at the bottom of Dowse Drive.  We have been researching bridges, experimenting with different types of paper, big and small, thick and thin, to see how many cars we can balance on our bridges. We will be researching different types of bridges next, then we will have to design, make,                                           test and evaluate our own bridges.

Skool Stars

Room 10 performed Bob the Builder for their Skool Stars DVD. We had lots of practice and some fun dance moves to go along with it! You are invited to the premier of our DVD on Monday 30 June starting at 6.30, so we hope to see you all there!

Swimming

We are really enjoying our swimming in Room 10.  We are learning how to get into and out of the swimming pool safely, how to blow bubbles, put our heads under the water, and some of us are even learning how to float!  We are also learning about keeping safe at the swimming pool.  

Some of our ideas include:

'Don't go on the slide' - Lucy

'I don't go too deep and I go in the little pool' - Molly
