Skool Stars

Room 10 performed Bob the Builder for their Skool Stars DVD. We had lots of practice and some fun dance moves to go along with it! You are invited to the premier of our DVD on Monday 30 June starting at 6.30, so we hope to see you all there!

Swimming

We are really enjoying our swimming in Room 10.  We are learning how to get into and out of the swimming pool safely, how to blow bubbles, put our heads under the water, and some of us are even learning how to float!  We are also learning about keeping safe at the swimming pool.  

Some of our ideas include:

'Don't go on the slide' - Lucy

'I don't go too deep and I go in the little pool' - Molly

'I went sliding off the side of the pool carefully' - Cozette

'Don't go too deep when the teacher is talking' - Ninja

'Walk, don't run' - Patrick

Positional Language

We have just finished learning about positional language in maths, and we had a great time demonstrating our knowledge of positions - especially 'on' (standing on chairs), and 'in' (hiding in the recycling bin).  Check out our photos......

Beginnings of a new class

Welcome to the Room 10 blog page!

As most of you are aware, there is currently myself and Patrick in Room 10. We would be very lonely without our lovely visitors from Room 4 and Room 5 so thank you very much to them.

We are beginning to fill our classroom with lots of samples of the childrens work, and we are getting our routines established (even though there are lots of disruptions - swimming, cross country etc).  

We are spending lots of time improving our swimming skills, and learning about water safety while in class.  We are really enjoying swimming, and hope to get some photos soon.
